The Texas AI Visibility Index

How the measurement works

The AIR Score (a trademark of Deep AI Solutions Inc) is built from real engine responses, not estimates. We run buyer-intent queries against five AI systems — ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), Grok (xAI), and Perplexity — and score three dimensions: mention (do the engines know you exist?), recommendation (do they name you when asked who to hire?), and sentiment (is what they say accurate and positive?). The composite is 0-100.

You can inspect the methodology running live on the national AI Visibility Index, which publishes real multi-engine scan data.

What we've published so far

Our Houston AI Visibility Index study (deepaisolutions.com/research/houston-ai-visibility-index-2026) measured a full metro and published the results: a median AIR Score of 31/100. Half of the businesses measured were invisible or barely visible to the AI systems their customers now ask.

We have not yet published Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, or statewide editions — and we won't invent numbers before we've measured them. That's the standard: published data or nothing.

Be part of the first Texas wave

Statewide measurement starts with individual scans. Run the free instant scan to get your AIR Score baseline — which engines name you, which don't, and what they say. Scanned businesses form the base of each metro's first published edition.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a published Texas ranking I can see?

Not yet — and we won't fabricate one. What exists today: the published Houston Index study (metro median AIR Score 31/100) and the live national AI Visibility Index at deepaivisibility.com with real scan data. Texas metro editions are built from real scans as businesses get measured.

What does a median of 31/100 actually mean?

In our Houston study, half of all measured businesses scored 31 or below out of 100 — meaning the typical business is barely visible to the AI systems customers now ask. It's evidence that the AI-visibility gap is wide open, and that businesses which fix it early face little competition inside AI answers.

How do I get my business scored?

Run the free instant scan at deepaivisibility.com — it takes about a minute and returns your AIR Score baseline across five engines. There's no obligation; the scan itself shows you which engines mention you and what they say.

Which AI engines are measured?

Five: ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), Grok (xAI), and Perplexity. These cover the major consumer AI answer surfaces, and each weighs different signals — ChatGPT's search answers ground on the Bing index, for example, while Gemini draws on Google's ecosystem.

Can my business be in the first published Texas edition?

Yes — metro editions are built from real measured scans. Getting scanned puts your business in the measurement base, and program clients get monthly re-scores that track movement over time. Start with the free scan; there's no cost to be measured.
